Happy Birthday, Friend!

Watching you with your little ones, your man, your family, your friends, your home and your jobs continues to be inspiring for me on a daily basis. I don’t really know how it happened that we came together in the way / at the time / that we did, but what a golden light of reason you are in my life. When I’m freaking out, you are not too far behind…wait…wait…what I mean is, you assure me, are so intensely honest with me and help me to reassure myself that in this beginning Mom stage, I am not alone.

Thank you. Happy Birthday–you are incredible and do a lot of things all at once. I’m sure if I laid out your life in front of Curren he would run up to you next time we see you and call you SuperMan. I’m pretty sure if there were a volcano erupting in Carlsbad, you would find the time to get here, dig a huge trench with one (very clean – staying clean) fingernail that would save this whole town. (Is this where you go, “Roon, you’re Weird, girl.”
